The Annual Parents Sports Day


 On November 23, 2024, Ananda Thirtha Vidyalaya  conducted "The Annual Parents Sports" where parents took a break from their daily routines and enjoyed  by involving themselves in sports activities.


The event took place at the school grounds at Pajaka-Kunjarugiri. The chief guest, Mr. Santosh Suvarna of Omkar Enterprises Event Management, inaugurated the event. He remarked that the students educated in Anandathirtha Vidyalaya would grow up to become exemplary citizens of the nation. He also appreciated the school for imparting not only education but also the values of our culture and the essence of this land.

There were a number of competitions under several categories, including long jump, running race, volleyball, shot put, and throwball.  The highlight of the events, which prevented people from feeling the intense heat, was the parents' enthusiastic participation.


The moment when kids encouraged their parents to win the games was incredibly heartwarming.

Principal Dr. Geetha Shashidhar, management trustee-Mrs. Roopa Ballaal, treasurer-Mr. Laxmi Narayana Upadya, Mrs. Rashmi Upadya, Mrs. Suchitra Suvarna, and the head of the P.T. department - Mr. Santosh Kumar Shetty, were present during the event.

Students of grade 10, Ms. Ananya, hosted the function. Ms. Tejal introduced the guest, Ms. Shreya welcomed the dignitaries, and the vote of thanks was given by Master Sanchit.

Overall, the event was full of joy, unity, and fun and created unforgettable memories for kids as well as for the parents.

School Cabinet Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed school cabinet was held on 1st July 2025 at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya. The event began with a ceremonial march as the Head Girl, Ms. Rashi, and Head Boy, Mast. Purushottam, led the procession, followed by the other 14 cabinet ministers. Students from Grades 6 to 10 gathered to witness this proud and graceful moment. Each cabinet member confidently marched onto the stage and received their sash and badge from the Principal. Following this, the House Leaders, representing the four Houses, entered with their respective flags and joined the stage. The Oath-Taking Ceremony was then conducted, during which the Head Girl, Head Boy, and all cabinet ministers pledged to carry out their duties with dedication, honesty, and a deep sense of responsibility. Classical Music and Dance Competition at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya - A Celebration of Culture and Devotion

On 2nd July 2025, the school came alive with rhythm and tradition as it hosted the Classical Music Singing and Classical Dance Competition. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 enthusiastically participated, showcasing their talent, confidence, and love for Indian classical art forms. To manage the wide range of participants, different venues were thoughtfully allotted for Primary, Middle, and High School sections. The music segment featured soulful renditions of bhajans and devotional songs, reflecting the spiritual depth and richness of our culture. The young vocalists impressed everyone with their melody, discipline, and emotive singing.
