 Anandathirtha Vidyalaya Enters Golden Book of World Records A proud moment for the Anandathirtha Vidyalaya family was marked by the official receipt of the Golden Book of World Records certificate on 3rd January. The certificate was formally handed over to the Principal, Dr Geetha Shashidhar, by Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head  and Mr Yashwanth, officials from the Golden Book of World Records. Earlier, on 7th December 2025, the institution had attempted to set a record in the Golden Book of World Records through the mass recitation of Chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 4,000 people, including students, staff members, and parents. Dr. Manish  Vishnoei appreciated the school authorities for establishing a separate department for Dhārmika Śikṣhaṇa and congratulated the institution, extending his best wishes for many more records in the years to come.

  Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya ✨🎶 On 13th September, Anandathirtha Vidyalaya was filled with festive spirit as the entire campus came alive in celebration of Krishna Janmashtami. The entrance itself set the tone – colourful rangoli patterns and a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Krishna, adorned with fresh garlands, welcomed everyone with a divine ambience. Whoever entered truly felt as though they had stepped into a temple. 🙏🌸 The celebration began with the arrival of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Vishwesharhirtha Swamiji, whose presence made the day even more special. High school girls presented a graceful performance depicting Krishna’s birth and childhood, which was received with much appreciation.   Health Check-up Programme – “Wellness on Wheels” Rotary Club, Manipal Town, in association with the Interact Club of Anandathirtha Vidyalaya, organised a health check-up programme titled “Wellness on Wheels” on the school campus. The programme began with Dr. Kumar Bhat, Chairman of the Interact Club, RCMT, extending a warm welcome to the gathering. This was followed by a soulful prayer rendered by the students to invoke the blessings of the Almighty.   Parents’ Day Celebration – मातृ पितृ वंदना By Scouts and Guides – Anandathirtha Vidyalaya, Pajaka Kunjarugiri The Cub-Bulbul and Scout-Guide Wing of Anandathirtha Vidyalaya, Pajaka Kunjarugiri, organised a heart-warming Parents’ Day Celebration – मातृ पितृ वंदना on 7th August 2025 to honour and express gratitude towards parents for their unconditional love and sacrifices.  The event was held with great devotion, creativity, and enthusiasm under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Geetha Shashidhar , who presided over the programme along with the Chief Guest.                                 The programme began with a warm welcome by Ms. Samhitha Upadhya, Guide.   संस्कृतोत्सव  Samskruthotsavam – World Sanskrit Day Celebration  at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya – 9th August 2025 World Sanskrit Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya on 9th August 2025. Observing this day is important as it helps preserve and promote the rich heritage of Sanskrit, which is proudly taught as the third language at the school.  The program was anchored very well by Ms. Rashi, who managed the proceedings smoothly, while Master Aaryan welcomed the school principal, Dr. Geetha Shashidhar , and the Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Vijetha , onto the stage. Sanskrit students presented beautiful handmade greetings to the dignitaries. The event commenced traditionally with Master Pranav blowing the conch, followed by the Principal lighting the diya, marking the auspicious start.  Primary school children sang a melodious Sanskrit prayer, and the higher-grade students sang beautifully and performed an elegant dance to a Sanskrit song....

AICS Cross Country Race – Dhavanam: Run for Victory

  AICS Cross Country Race –  Dhavanam: Run for Victory Hosted by Anandathirtha Vidyalaya on 2nd August 2025 The AICS Cross Country Race titled Dhavanam – Run for Victory was successfully hosted by Anandathirtha Vidyalaya on 2nd August 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 22 CBSE schools, with a total of 160 athletes competing in the marathon. The event was flagged off by the Management Trustees of Anandathirtha Vidyalaya – Mrs. Roopa Ballal and Mr. Sudarshan Rao. For the convenience of schools travelling from distant places, accommodation and food facilities were arranged a day prior to the event. The athlet es competed across three different categories: Under-17 Boys: 5 km Under-17 Girls & Under-14 Boys: 4 km Under-14 Girls: 3 km A 15-minute interval was maintained between the start of each category.   Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration  – A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Martyrs On 26th July, Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed with deep patriotism to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The ceremony began with a disciplined NCC parade, commanded by Cpl Varnica Shashidhar, followed by the arrival of the chief guest, Naib Subedar Chandrashekhar Navda, who was respectfully escorted to the stage by Principal Dr. Geetha Shashidhar. The programme was anchored by Ms. Nirupama, with a warm welcome by Mrs. Vidya Kumari, introduction by Mr. Rajvardhan, and vote of thanks by Mrs. Geetha Praveen Bhat.
