Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration – A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Martyrs On 26th July, Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed with deep patriotism to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The ceremony began with a disciplined NCC parade, commanded by Cpl Varnica Shashidhar, followed by the arrival of the chief guest, Naib Subedar Chandrashekhar Navda, who was respectfully escorted to the stage by Principal Dr. Geetha Shashidhar. The programme was anchored by Ms. Nirupama, with a warm welcome by Mrs. Vidya Kumari, introduction by Mr. Rajvardhan, and vote of thanks by Mrs. Geetha Praveen Bhat. Hands in Mud, Hearts with Nature: A Monsoon Field Experience More than just teaching values, Anandathirtha Vidyalaya actively engages students in experiences that bring them closer to their Indian roots. On 11th July, the students of Grade 10 took part in a unique and enriching paddy plantation activity. After the morning assembly, they proceeded to the fields in Padubellay, near Parashuthirtha, owned by our Management Trustee, Madhwaraj Bhat. Upon reaching the site, the students were warmly welcomed with a cup of traditional kashaya to keep themselves warm. The Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed school cabinet was held on 1st July 2025 at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya. The event began with a ceremonial march as the Head Girl, Ms. Rashi, and Head Boy, Mast. Purushottam, led the procession, followed by the other 14 cabinet ministers. Students from Grades 6 to 10 gathered to witness this proud and graceful moment. Each cabinet member confidently marched onto the stage and received their sash and badge from the Principal. Following this, the House Leaders, representing the four Houses, entered with their respective flags and joined the stage. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 enthusiastically participated, showcasing their talent, confidence, and love for Indian classical art forms.
