 The Spirit of Guru Purnima                      Celebrating the Sacred Bond of Guidance, Gratitude, and Growth On Thursday, 10th July, Guru Purnima was celebrated with great reverence at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Dr. Geetha Shashidhar.                                   Shri Keshava Moorthy from the Dharmika Shikshana Department addressed the students during the morning assembly, highlighting the profound significance of Guru Purnima. Paddy Transplantation Practicals at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya

  Hands in Mud, Hearts with Nature: A Monsoon Field Experience More than just teaching values, Anandathirtha Vidyalaya actively engages students in experiences that bring them closer to their Indian roots. On 11th July, the students of Grade 10 took part in a unique and enriching paddy plantation activity. After the morning assembly, they proceeded to the fields in Padubellay, near Parashuthirtha, owned by our Management Trustee, Madhwaraj Bhat. Upon reaching the site, the students were warmly welcomed with a cup of traditional kashaya to keep themselves warm. School Cabinet Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed school cabinet was held on 1st July 2025 at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya. The event began with a ceremonial march as the Head Girl, Ms. Rashi, and Head Boy, Mast. Purushottam, led the procession, followed by the other 14 cabinet ministers. Students from Grades 6 to 10 gathered to witness this proud and graceful moment. Each cabinet member confidently marched onto the stage and received their sash and badge from the Principal. Following this, the House Leaders, representing the four Houses, entered with their respective flags and joined the stage. The Oath-Taking Ceremony was then conducted, during which the Head Girl, Head Boy, and all cabinet ministers pledged to carry out their duties with dedication, honesty, and a deep sense of responsibility. Classical Music and Dance Competition at Anandathirtha Vidyalaya - A Celebration of Culture and Devotion

On 2nd July 2025, the school came alive with rhythm and tradition as it hosted the Classical Music Singing and Classical Dance Competition. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 enthusiastically participated, showcasing their talent, confidence, and love for Indian classical art forms. To manage the wide range of participants, different venues were thoughtfully allotted for Primary, Middle, and High School sections. The music segment featured soulful renditions of bhajans and devotional songs, reflecting the spiritual depth and richness of our culture. The young vocalists impressed everyone with their melody, discipline, and emotive singing. Equally enthralling were the dance performances, where students mesmerised their classmates and teachers with graceful movements and expressive storytelling.
